Since 1999, Sibel Alpaslan has been creating ceramics at Atelier Cybele – her friendly shop in Kusadasi, Turkey.
"Cybele" is the Anatolian Earth goddess, and it is from the clay and water of the Earth that Sibel lovingly forms the pottery, sculpture, and ceramic art that she shares with her loyal customers.
Accompanied by the spirit and energy of her close family, colleagues, students, and friends, Sibel lives happily as a productive and creative soul as she strives to contribute beautiful and useful ceramics to the world.
